When they say 9 hours of battery life, what they really mean is that the total battery life of BOTH batteries that come with the kit is 9 hours. I would even be happy with that, but each battery lasts about 40 minutes. I don't care much about things so I ONLY contacted them to buy more batteries. Depending on how much they cost I would buy a couple of batteries. Then I was told that there are NO batteries. Additional batteries are not sold. The only batteries they have are INSIDE the camera boxes as I have already purchased them. It makes no sense, but OK, so no batteries. This is the NEXT complaint, I have no one to blame but myself but they are still misleading. One of the advantages of this camera is the infrared mode. Any display for an IR camera will show black and white images because this is what a "night vision" IR camera looks like. It either looks green like most night vision cameras OR it looks black and white like digital and infrared night vision cameras. I've seen a camcorder limited to black and white recording except for old security footage. Even the cheapest security cameras are now in color. ETA is marketed as a "police camera". Are there police departments that present evidence in court in this way? "As you can see, the man in the yellow and red shirt fits the description." "Oh, sorry, I have a camera that turns everything into 1963." "It's half camera, half time machine ."
