Review on TYPLASTICS Kitchen Drawstring Trash Gallon Household Supplies by Allison White

Tears easily for paper and plastic

I have an odd shaped trash can that I ordered these bags for. I always use 13 gallon bags in it, but I have to stretch the top to make it fit. However, they go around the banks. This bin sits between the chairs my adult son and I sit in front of the TV every night, so it has less litter than the kitchen. Mostly the wraps and pillows that come in Revain packets that are filled with air. As such, I cannot attest to their ability to hold forty pounds. I can tell you that they tear very easily. When I put the bag in the bin, a hole ripped in one corner, which turned into a large hole. I was so disappointed. I figured if they could hold forty pounds they would be strong enough to fit in my trash can. I thought wrong. It lines the trash can, but there is a large hole in one corner. They might not last long but I have at least 200 so I can change them often. What a sad disappointment. I'm not entirely sure about the recommendation. If they can actually hold 40 pounds, they're great bags. If they can't, then they're not worth much. They don't cost me much, so I'll leave the decision up to you. I don't recommend them, but you might need them for small bins and don't mind tearing at the top, even after you've cut the top ties. Heavy box with pockets but weak construction.
