I have an ST743 tank (stamped inside the tank, also information on the underside of the tank cap). The handle broke in the same spot that I had seen in some of the other posts. As the handle rotates, it hits the end of the rinse arm, which moves into the channel in the handle, raising the end of the rinse. The handle is metal, but it's cheap and not the most durable. The flush lever wears down the canal wall over time. There is only 1 screw that attaches the trigger to the grip, and thinking about it, I might add some silicone grease to the inside of the channel to reduce friction and increase channel life. I'm keeping the old pin, I think I can fix it as a backup, I used a screed as a mold and filled the gap in the channel with epoxy, it would have worked, but the mix on the epoxy was wrong and the epoxy isn't set as tight as it should, I'll have to try again (see photo). The new handle is easy to install and the only care is to minimize the chain attached to the tote by following the instructions.
