I bought these cables because my retro gaming pc's PSU didn't have enough sata power cables to add another hard drive. The PSU is 520W and had enough room to drive. After installing these splitters and trying to install the game, the computer kept throwing hard drive errors, after which the hard drive turned off (due to a power outage). After that, trying to restart showed that the computer did not want to boot. After hours of swapping out hard drives, graphics cards and other components, I realized that the problem was with those cheap Sata power distributors. The removal allowed the computer to start immediately without any problems. I urge everyone to keep their distance. It's garbage.
