This extruder is generally well made and works very well considering a few things.1. If you are using an Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro that is listed as compatible, this is not 100% correct. It will not snap into place when the left air connector is attached. It interferes with the Z-axis screw (in fact, you can't physically attach it afterwards). The hole where the filament enters remains quite large, which can lead to scratching the filament - not good. The solution is to attach another feature that helps feed the filament right in - usually something you have to print yourself. The second problem, and it's universal to everything BigTreeTech makes, is that there are no instructions. You get a bag full of stuff and a hearty "Good luck” to the last. Luckily I was able to find a Creality video online that explains how to install the exact same extruder with a different brand of dual gears. If you keep that in mind and do your homework, this is a great replacement for a standard extruder or one that is showing problems.
