Review on 🌬️ Enhance Indoor Air Quality with Airthings 2810 Access Your Monitor by Kenny Hrdlicka

useful for multiple Airthings sensors, option to dim status LEDs can be used

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to why Airthings sensors don't have Wi-Fi. My options, but having WiFi, while easier, drains the battery or requires more frequent battery charging/swapping, and users complain of connection loss (similar to webcams/security cameras). the possibility to dim or turn off the LED). The thickness of the hub is quite acceptable, and the device does not heat up. Below is a similar review I posted for the Wave Plus sensor. I was originally just looking for a smart radon tester before I installed a radon abatement system and found a ripple system from Airthings. I first bought a home kit that came with an old 2nd generation shaft, hub and mini shaft from Revain's inventory (open box). I had some issues with the hub as it was already registered and I didn't want to contact support which wasn't available 24/7 and ended up getting everything back. During the initial setup, I also (wrongly) assumed that the devices would be WiFi/IP-based, but that standalone sensors would only work via Bluetooth or wirelessly via a hub. even without a hub, data is not written permanently. Then I ordered this new sensor wave plus, 2 miniwaves and a hub (quite expensive). Installation was easy, unpack the sensors, download the app, register an account, connect the sensor to the phone via Bluetooth, update the firmware and you're done. Then you connect your hub and add sensors to the hub via your phone. wave2 radon levels were high (since suspected allied neighbors had radon levels professionally tested for $150. What I didn't expect were the CO2 and VOC levels in the house, as well as the high humidity in the basement. CO2, which we could lower by opening the Windows and ventilation of the house and humidity levels were controlled with a dehumidifier in the basement, aerus, installed by my friend who works with HVAC systems. The web panel also has much better data and it's easier to view and track historical data as the app how the app shows you the real-time stats we also have historical but we also can not increase data or set a custom period (increase) wave mini has mold detection but in there is no wave plus, and wave plus (mainly for radon) has Co2 detection, but the Mini doesn't want a unified sensor, even if it costs more, and the possibility to have Wi-Fi (although this will likely drain the battery). ) . and alerts/push notifications for custom or preset thresholds so I don't have to constantly monitor. Overall a great product but it will make you think about how to improve your air quality after looking at the data :)

Pros
  • LARGE DISTRIBUTION: Low power consumption, long distance connectivity allows distribution of up to 10 Airthings monitors across a large building or home with a single hub.
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrive
