I've been upgrading my iPhone every year, but it just hasn't been the same.There are always these clean, white spaces above and below, and there's no screen to block them off. Prior to the release of iPhone X, I used an iPhone 7 Plus. The seven-inch display was large enough for my needs, but the phone's bulky form factor made it awkward to carry around in my pocket (it protruded constantly, giving the impression of a "shovel") for long periods of time. So when X was out, I pre-ordered it right away since I knew this was the one I'd been waiting for. It had a somewhat larger screen than a standard 6/7/8 model, but the lack of healthy frames made the experience equivalent to that of "plus" models. I have gone almost a year without upgrading my phone, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Everything about it is just right: the picture quality is top notch, the battery life is long, the processing speed is lightning fast, and the size and weight are just right. Nobody's unibrow flinched or got in the way of their work with the gadget for even a second. This model is, and in my opinion will continue to be, the best in the series for the next two years. The regular X is no worse than the one I've been using, so I don't see any point in taking them.
