I have a 29 year old motorhome that had ten original daytime running lights which gave me constant problems. The contacts were old and rusty and often lost contact with the bulbs. They had only one wire connection - a hot wire. The bottom was in contact with the aluminum fairing through one of the mounting screws, which was also a problem in maintaining communications. These new LED lights are about ten times brighter than the old ones. They're plastic with two wires to connect to, so I screwed the ground wire to the aluminum panel after removing the paint from the panel at the connection. This has all been done under where the light will be mounted so that it is not visible once the light is in place. It worked great. All my lights are bright now and they stay connected. Great deal, especially for the price.
