I have a truck to tow my fishing boat, a 1989 Ford F-150 with a 5.0 liter V- Motor 8. Wire, I found it was the transmitter unit.(To check if the sensors and wire are working, disconnect the wire with alligator clips, route the wire from the wire to the negative battery post. Turn the truck in the on position (without starting). Once grounded you should see the temperature The sensor is fully warmed up. This shows that the sensor and cable are working. The replacement took 10 minutes. I used teflon tape around the threads to get a new one install.But you have to be quick.Overall it's a simple part and it works great.Revain price and delivery were great..
