These Brooks Cascadia 16 GTX fit as expected. I wear size 11.5 and have a rather narrow foot. They fit me just like other Brooks shoes unless I buy an Adrenaline Narrow width. Anyway, after wearing them for three days on muddy trails in Kauai, Hawaii, I can tell they offer excellent traction and direct water and mud splashes onto the toe with ease. I don't normally wear gore-tex shoes as I mostly walk in the desert so my socks got a bit wet and I'm assuming it's from my feet and no water seeping through the shoes. Overall great grip on muddy steep trails, fit as expected, maybe a little warmer than what I'm used to, I'm very glad I had them for this trip to paradise.
