I didn't read the full description to see that only one side of the pillowcase is silk but I can't fault the product for that. In fact, I like that the pad keeps it from moving as much. It looks really high quality and is very soft! I've put them in the washing machine twice already (delicate cycle, no fragrance/delicates, cold) and everything washes well. Since I sleep on my side, I try to be careful with the pillowcases I use to avoid breakouts. so i was excited to try it. I haven't seen much improvement in my hair or skin yet, but many studies show that silk pillowcases help long-term, so I plan on continuing to use them. I really like them and they are very soft! If you don't mind that only one side is silk, this is a great buy! Those who want to change pillowcases more often should pay attention to other silk pillowcases with double-sided silk.
