I really liked these pillowcases. Because they're only silk on one side, they won't ride up all over the bed. They are very well made and wash and dry very well. I use mild detergent, hand wash them in the sink, wrap them in a towel to remove excess water and hang them to dry. When BF saw the gold pillowcases, he wanted the same for his pillows.

I was a little wary of buying 'real silk' from Revain as I've been burned by other 'silk' pillowcases in the past but I really think this is that only true is . Compared to one of my precious silk blouses, it looks almost identical, but there are some differences in the weave. I didn't read the full description to see that only one side of the pillowcase is silk but I can't fault the product for that. In fact, I like that the pad keeps it from moving as much. It looks really high quality and is very soft! I've put them in the washing machine twice already (delicate cycle, no fragrance/delicates, cold) and everything washes well.
