This board is a slightly newer version of the one in my Ender 3 V2. My board is version 4.2.2 and this new board is version 4.2.7. Functionally, apart from the need to use different factory firmware, both boards behave almost the same. This will be a much more drastic change if you're upgrading from a regular Ender 3 or Ender 5. My old board had hot glue on all the connectors. If you spray the glue with 90% isopropyl alcohol it will come off very easily. It will help if your connectors are glued this way. I don't know if this was intended to prevent tampering or to prevent them from falling out during shipping, but it seems unnecessary. Installation is quite easy with just a few screws. It can be helpful to put colored markings on the plugs so you can quickly find which outlet to plug them into. listed). It's a good idea to do the auto PID tuning on the hot end and table heater as every printer is slightly different. Overall, this is a nice upgrade over the original Ender 3. To really perform like the V2, you also need an updated screen.
