I cook a lot and have many fryers of different sizes and styles and this one is the worst! I bought this oven from the Martha Stewart range because it convinced me that it could cook at a higher temperature than any other Dutch oven, even compared to Le Creuset (which I have several and love). The worst thing is that it doesn't bake evenly. It has such a hot spot that you can't fry anything without burning it. At this point I have to wonder if it's cast iron at all. It's awful and should only be used as a decoration, which Martha is better known for anyway.
