Go For Lodge is good for kitchen and food

Extremely crappy. Not only does this dutch discolor quickly, it also breaks down and can be dangerous. You had a rating. I don't know what happened to Martha Stewart bragging about superior quality to educate the masses, but those days seem to be over.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Nothing here

Cheap crockery, crockery with fries

After a year of relatively light and careful use, the outer enamel broke and holes appeared on the hob in several places. This pot is going to the thrift store soon. Sorry Martha, you sound good but you have to go through quality control if you want to put your name on a product.

Do not buy! in kitchen and dining room

I bought this 3 years ago and I love the look but. Pot edge and lid rust. I made a huge pot of chili in it and when we reached the bottom a large piece of enamel broke off and we probably ate it. Dissatisfied! I use this pot maybe 3-4 times a year and only use wooden spoons in it, how could this happen?

Wonderful! for kitchen and dining room

When I saw this pot for sale I just couldn't help but buy it! I've always wanted to replace my old enamelled grill with a "LeCrese" type pot and this one worked for me. I used it the day after I bought it with amazing results. I roasted a whole chicken with fresh green beans and carrots in it. The chicken turned out so juicy and tender and the veggies were the perfect texture. It was very easy to clean. I didn't even have to soak it to clean it. For me, the kettle paid for itself in one use…

In everyone's interest, it must be taken off the market.

I cook a lot and have many fryers of different sizes and styles and this one is the worst! I bought this oven from the Martha Stewart range because it convinced me that it could cook at a higher temperature than any other Dutch oven, even compared to Le Creuset (which I have several and love). The worst thing is that it doesn't bake evenly. It has such a hot spot that you can't fry anything without burning it. At this point I have to wonder if it's cast iron at all. It's awful and should only…

This pot can boil water at a lower temperature.

What I didn't like is that the product description doesn't say if they can boil water. There is no definition of "high temperature". I tried boiling water in a pot, tried calling Revain support an hour later and luckily the water boiled at a lower temperature. Time will tell if the lower temperature was low enough to damage the pot. My main complaint was with Revain. They hire people who hardly speak English and it's impossible to explain anything to someone who doesn't speak English. No, I…

Martha Stewart Enamelled Cast Iron Dutch Oven

I had a whole set of Le Cruesset cast iron pots and pans before we retired and foolishly sold them at a flea market when we retired. I missed them so much but they got so expensive I couldn't afford to replace them. I saw the Martha Stewart collection at Macy's and really felt like I only needed a 5.5qt pot of chili and wondered if it would be as good as Le Cruesset as it seemed very similar and although it wasn't expensive but still very expensive. on our recurring revenue. I checked out…

Save money and buy something better.

I bought this Dutch casserole over a year ago. When I bought it for the first time, I was thrilled. Le Creuset charged around $300 for a similar Dutch oven. Anyway, I've used it about a dozen times, and due to this low amount of use, I've experienced the following: 1. The outer enamel coating has taken on a chalky, powdery appearance. Rust began to appear around the edge.3. The internal enamel coating isn't cracked, but some look thinner if that makes sense. Parts of the cabin have acquired an…

Too many flaws, not worth the money

I paid $120 for it at Macy's and fell in love with it first. I've had it for a year now and use it all the time, twice a week and sometimes more. Functionally it's great. I love the way he cooks my food. I can't compare as this is the only dutch oven I've ever used. However, the enamel chipped very easily, not only on the outside (which doesn't bother me much) but also on the inside, especially on the bulges covering the inside of the lid. But the grip is worse. It's made out of the "keep cool"

  • Dope 🔥
