The Boa dial cap came off
A few weeks after purchase, the Boa dial cap on one of the shoes came off. It looked so ugly, like one-eyed shoes or invalid shoes. I glued it on but it didn't work that well as a boa constrictor. It wasn't just a cap, it was some kind of detail that played the role of a boa constrictor.
