Review on πŸͺ“ Corona Tools 10-Inch RazorTOOTH Folding Saw: Pruning Saw with Curved Blade for Single-Handed Use, Cuts Branches up to 6" Diameter (RS 7265D) by Raden Maldonado

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good folding saw, but does not cover all the teeth of the curved blade. Too bad the straight version of this knife can.

Big knife, its smaller Corona 7240 (discontinued?) is a much better tool for pruning small branches and trees. However, it is a gem for large trees up to 7-8 or larger in diameter (2-4 sided cuts). However, and this makes a big difference to me on long hikes and hikes, this knife is curved and so long that it doesn't fold to hide all the teeth. This is a HUGE problem with items that cannot or should not be exposed to sharp objects. When I'm out in the outback for up to a week this item can cause some problems so it needs to be wrapped in clothes (not that big of a problem) which doesn't really matter and that's my long underwear. . This underwear now causes problems with items in the backpack. Find and get a replacement for the 7240 that was supposed to replace this one, or a non-curved version of this knife if it folds and hides all the teeth. Too bad they didn't show him a photo (if didn't see one at all) showing him how complex he is and obviously not hiding all his teeth.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unreliable
