So spending that much money on a caulking gun that I use occasionally is better for a good cause. Having previously bought guns in various price ranges offered at Home Depot, none of them made embedding sealant effortless. To qualify I use caulking guns not only for caulking but also for heavy duty glue so having an equally powerful gun is very important. Most of my problems applying sealant/adhesive come from using poor quality tools. The one that's stuck triggers or the pressure builds up and applies too much at once. This gun eliminates ALL of those problems. I now write like a pro. Actually, I'm already looking forward to plastering the seams, although I've avoided it like the plague so far.
