My Costco Special Lorex HDCVI 16 Channel Security DVR crashed while trying to upgrade to 4K UHD network cameras, too hot to go to the attic and new cables to relocate, so I needed something compatible right now. Another customer feedback said it works with Costco's Lorex cameras, but I had to make sure it also served RTSP 1080p stream URLs per camera. I contacted the seller and got a response, so I ordered. Couldn't be happier, backup and fast operation, after removing the drive from my dead Lorex DVR, installing and formatting it in this Qcamera DVR it was just a matter of connecting all the BNCs for the cameras and setting up the DVR. The setup could have been better documented, but was actually simpler and less confusing than the Lorex setup interface.
