Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

Do not look at the number of shortcomings above - I am delighted! The device is cool, smart, it's a pleasure to use. What else do you need from a laptop with gaming capabilities? About games: For the last few weeks I've been suffering from the fact that I could add 8 thousand and buy the same laptop, but with 1660 Ti, I simply didn't know about it. And if I knew, I would not have bought it, because the articles that I read showed that the 1660 Ti was a waste of money, and if you really fork out, then for 2060, the laptop version with which is already well over 100k. Therefore, I chose not between this and a more powerful one, but between this and a much less powerful Ideapad 5 15 with an MX450 discrete (since games are not the main thing for me). In principle, the choice is justified. A quieter video card seems to be less likely to fall off in the future. Secondly, it has enough speed for me, and then why overpay? And so I kept within the budget (planned 80k, bought for 77k). Thirdly, in theory, the version of the laptop with it should be quieter, but this is not accurate. Fourthly, on a 15-inch screen, I'm guaranteed not to notice the difference between ultra graphics and just high graphics, but there is no monitor yet. What I consider to be sufficient performance is a smooth picture in my opinion in those games that are interesting to me, I did not count the FPS and am not going to count it. I focus on the eye. My games: Borderlands 3, Elite: Dangerous, No Man's Sky, Battlefront 2 (2022, although 2022 too, but this, you understand, is not about performance!), I plan to master a few more missed games from 2022-2022.

Pros
  • Ownership experience: 2+ months What do I compare it to? Actually, with nothing, but at some points I can remember the previous laptop - the Lenovo Yoga 13 ultrabook, I have had it for almost 8 years. With him, I went through fire, water, two theses and many, many toys up to and including 2022 (yes, on an ultrabook with integrated graphics). This year, against the backdrop of a rise in price of everything and everything in the world of semiconductor electronics, I decided to upgrade, so as not to be left with an almost broken trough later. I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 with AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 1650 Ti graphics card and 60Hz screen. What did you like? (from personal experience) + screen and keyboard. Two main controls, a real I / O system (not these bios of yours). The keyboard is very comfortable and not noisy, the sleepers do not wake up with clatter. Branded keys rounded at the bottom. Illumination during touch typing is not exactly a necessary thing, but it creates an entourage of night gatherings. It's a pleasure to write stories and lead with this laptop! The screen does not tire the eyes. + Performance. On the Internet, everything happens instantly. In programs other than office, I do not work. + Pulls games (details in the comments) + Works for a long time. I measured recently, in quiet fan mode, with power saving turned on and adequate brightness for subdued daylight, he lived for 8.5 hours - this is with intermittent viewing of video on the Internet. + Noise during games is not as loud as I feared, and outside of games there is no noise at all. + FnLock button (changes the functional row from the default multimedia buttons to multimedia buttons via Fn) - on the previous one, this could only be done in the BIOS What did you like about the reviews? + Maintainability. To parse, you need a regular screwdriver, everything is clear inside, you can throw in another ssd and RAM, and that's fine, but so far it's not necessary + temperature. The laptop is very cold for someone who can pull modern toys, BUT I have not measured the exact temperature parameters and do not intend to.
Cons
  • - A very thoughtful change in the brightness of the backlight. In addition, not very even: the brightness changes a lot in the upper range, and below it is not so much. - Although the keyboard layout is comfortable, 8 years of life without a number pad makes itself felt, and I regularly miss the Delete button, next to which the Home button is located. It's just a nitpick - Leaning back in your chair, you see light from under some keys, in particular from under the space bar and from under the function keys. - The space button moves a little left and right, which for me was an unpleasant discovery. But life, of course, does not interfere - Due to the design, it is difficult to clean the dust from under the screen hinge - No card reader. - No Thunderbolt (although I know that it is not compatible with either processors or AMD motherboards and I am 99% sure that I would never use it if it was) - Design. It's not bad, it pleases the eye, but, as the wife put it, it looks like a laptop from the nineties. Very rectangular and angular, strongly for an amateur. It suits me, but it's not love at first sight. - Moderately heavy. Not a fluff, every day I wouldn’t carry it somewhere, it’s a pity for my back.
