They were perfect for my use. I bought a metal dog ramp covered in sandpaper like a train, well my older dogs wouldn't climb it. My eldest Doxie is 17, the other is 16 and they don't have the strength in their small 2 inch legs to hold their weight up the ramp without sliding back a bit which pissed off the elder and both of them refused to do it to use . So I increased the ramp in 3" increments by changing the incline and bought this to cover the traction tape and voila, after a few days of gentle encouragement and forced placement on the new step, the senior entered the house with his own. I was smitten (no pun intended). that I had to put him on the step to get up the ramp before I finished that task and when I got to the back door he was standing there almost crying. I had to remind myself he was on the floor when I walked in, I thought I was crazy. Not sure how long the adhesive on the outside will last under a covered canopy, but I would buy again if I can't get them re-adhesive if they ever show up. I changed the slope of the ramp and 1 tile was bent so I removed and repositioned it and after 2 weeks it is still in the same place. Haven't used it for traditional flooring per se but would buy it in the future for the same application or flooring if it holds up well on a sloping dog ramp it should be amazingly flat as flooring.
