Does what it should.
There are better ways to cut notches in tiles, but if you just need to cut a few tiles like I do, this is a good alternative to buying a dedicated tile cutter. I used a dampened sponge to squeeze some water onto the work piece as I cut to keep the blade cool. I don't know, it was absolutely necessary, but it seemed like a good idea.
