Review on GigaTent Durango Military Cot: Heavy Duty, Portable Sleeping Solution. by Darryl Montagna

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Cot and extra long

Very happy with this. It is longer than another cot I have but this one folds differently. My other cot folds in half and this one folds and is put in a carry bag it comes with. MUCH easier to put away somewhere. When I first got it I thought it was going to be several pieces that I would have to figure how to put together. That wasn't the case. I was very surprised the way in just unfolds then slip in the end bars. The end bars are a little difficult to put in place but they have to be tight to keep the cot secured open. This cot is also longer than my other one. I'm 5'4 and I sleep with one arm up under my pillow. With my other cot doing this, my feet hang off the edge. Not with this one though. I definitely recommend this cot

Pros
  • Nice cot, but a little difficult to get one end on after attaching the other end.
Cons
  • Though the GigaTent Durango Military Cot is portable, it might be a little too heavy for backpacking trips, making it a less-than-ideal choice for hikers and campers who need to travel light
