These will NOT hold a calendar up on your fridge. They will hold 25 lbs of weight if you are pulling straight down on the hook, away from the magnetic base. I bought these to hang a calendar up on my fridge but it immediately slides right down the fridge door.These will work only for hanging something away from the magnetic base, they will not work for hanging something perpendicular to the magnetic base. Do not buy if you want to use them to hang something on a fridge of wall.
