Review on 🧙 Magical Wizard Pet Cape with Headpiece and Illuminating Collar by Rubie's by Carla Williams

I would like to start by saying this was a last minute purchase for an honest estimate. I needed something sweet fast and this definitely helped me with that. However, my height is 45 pounds. The mix for the Basset hound that is needed due to its size (XL) wasn't available so I thought I'd go to the XXL and undercut it. The XXL size was MUCH longer, I had to shorten the cape by almost a foot, but it fits well now (first photo is after sewing, second is the fabric removed). He probably could have used Big if it wasn't for the collar (he's a burly boy). I am very impressed with the hat which has elastic to hold it on the ears and also under the chin. My dog has ear problems so he often shakes his head very violently and so far so good. It also doesn't seem to bother him as much as most headgear, although he doesn't like it. The collar light was not working when I received it, but I was able to easily remove it completely to avoid battery bulkiness. I'll update this again when I see how it holds up on the show!
