The holes didn't match.
I like the stool. The color has a slightly greenish tint. The problem occurred during the build process. On the first stool, the holes in the metal base did not match. I had to widen the hole a little over 1/4 inch. With the second stool, four of the six holes had to be sealed. I had to widen the middle two by more than 1/8" and drill two new holes for the ones on the end. Aside from mounting issues, quality is good.
