I got tired of cutting squares for my random orbit sander and switched to a random orbit sander and overall a great transition that saved me a lot of time setting up for san and made the sandpaper last longer. As part of a possibly new random orbital sander, I've found the SAND MINE 5" 8-hole velcro sanding discs hold up much better than my standard sheet paper I've been using and I get my job done in about 1/3 hour. Time from cutting a 1/4 square sheet and attaching it to my vibrator grinder. I would recommend everyone to swap out their random orbit sander and buy 100 packs of sandpaper to sand any woodworking project quickly and economically. I have not used any other sandpaper on my new random orbital sander, but I have found this sandpaper to be cheaper and last longer than my old sandpaper. I would recommend using three different grits of sandpaper. I start with 60 grit, move up to 120 grit, and then to 180 grit (optionally 320 for some projects) to quickly smooth out the wood.
