Refresh any room!

I wasn't sure how difficult it would be or if it would even work! After reading other reviews we weren't sure how easy it would be. Our project was a small dressing room. Two people assembling will surely make things easier when you have long stretches! There are lines on the back of the paper to help you cut a straight line. After cutting the piece, I folded it and peeled off one edge. One of us lined it up against the wall and started smoothing it out while the other ripped off the backing and spread it across the wall. We have found this method to be the easiest and fastest method. We also had a foam cutter for textured walls. We used this splitting knife to apply even pressure to smooth and ensure it stuck to the wall. Part of our closet is made from new drywall and part is made from an old closet that was painted a medium shade of green. I thought this would cover completely but you can see the darker stains on the wall as well as the drywall grout lines. If I had to do it all over again I would paint the walls bright white to keep everything consistent. Painting bright white would also make the boat look brighter. The first 3 reels everything was perfect, but on the 4th reel in the reel there was a crack that reappeared. Since it's in the closet it doesn't really matter, but when it comes time to do the closet doors in our guest rooms, having to cut one section and paste another can be a problem. In general all lines are well matched and this is a good product. It doesn't work on textured walls! It doesn't work on dusty walls! Make sure you clean smooth walls when you start. My husband and I worked individually on sections 32" and shorter, and we worked together on sections 54" and 88.5". Hope this helps anyone looking for advice!
