Measure the length of the drain!
Sink strainers are made of stainless steel (as opposed to the rubber base I thought I was buying). Because they are made of stainless steel, they are not flexible and must be scraped or banged against the bin to clean up food debris. They were too long for my sink so I gave them four stars because of that and because they weren't easy to clean.
