I have this hammer as well as a sledgehammer from Fiskars. The hammer cracked the head and after I made a warranty claim the Fiskars informed me that I would have to pay for the post, even though I had sent some photos and proof of the damage. I told them I would not be paying for shipping and asked for a prepaid label for something this heavy and large and was told I would have to cut off the head and then just send the handle. That's ridiculous. I understand you need proof of a damaged part, but making your customer pay to ship something with a lifetime guarantee that breaks after a few years is terrible customer service. I have about a dozen Fiskars products and will never buy more.
