Oddly enough (judging by other reviews), the batteries were both alive. The beat is within the normal range. Bought as a gift, I think they will be happy. Great for home. For a workshop with a heavy load, look elsewhere. Its pros: For a little less than 1900r, a shura on lithium, in a box, with two batteries, with a backlight - it's not bad for the house. Cons: Not Bosch, of course, with all the consequences. There is no drill mode, but instead there is a level.
