I bought two of these clamps for a woodworking project. One was fine; the second had a curved mating surface at the point where the turntable on the screw shaft makes contact with the clamp body. It was enough that I was worried it would mark if I tightened the clamp hard enough. Instead of dealing with a return postage I went to the local shipping port to ship it back. They were very helpful and exchanged it without asking questions. However, of the two replacement clamps I saw available, one had a rounded fit on the clamp body. So out of the 4 items I processed, 2 were defective in one way or another. Not a particularly good track record. Otherwise they feel strong and solid (they aren't light and shouldn't be) and should last a long time. My advice: either head straight to the Harbor Freight hardware store to choose the best ones, or order a pair. Extras online, choose the best of what you need and give back extras.
