So I ordered both the £130 and £600 versions. Initially I had the 130 and it was too weak for my application. But I was able to experiment with the magnet on my desktop power supply and by giving it a bit more juice I was able to get the weight I wanted. So I figured if I order a larger size I would just get a different control box that offers a little more power. Imagine my surprise when I receive the box and the lock is 5 times larger but uses the same voltage/amperage. Which I'm definitely not complaining about, but I just chose to note it as it's hard to tell from the pictures. As mentioned and some other reviews, make sure the panels on the door are not fixed. You need a small protruding button that touches the locking mechanism. It has to be in full contact, so it has to be free to give it a holding power. Then this little button shrinks. When the power is off, this button will spring the locking plate away from the device, allowing for a very easy movement. I use this lock for a hidden passage through a bookshelf. So I wanted a lot more holding power so it wouldn't move and give away if someone hit it. I'm very sure about that, but will update if I run into any problems
