Works well. The transmitter is mounted in a waterproof plastic case on the hitch of my trailer and the receiver for an 8 inch monitor in my Chevrolet Tahoe is on the dash. I disconnected the transmitter and camera from the RV navigation lights so it works when I connect and tow. I get a lot of visual noise and sometimes the picture goes blank. This would probably work better if the transmitter and receiver were in the same car, but in that case you can just run a solid wire. I'm considering replacing the transmitter and just hardwiring to the trailer to fix the erratic picture quality. I suspect that the static electricity and signal strength problem is caused by the distance between the two pieces and the plastic case of the project box that the transmitter is in.
