Review on Dremel 442 Carbon Steel Brush: Powerful Tool for Versatile Cleaning and Polishing by Jeremy Therrien

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect fit for our project

We bought a Dremel 428 and 442 to see which one was better for removing rust from flat surfaces. The conical shape is perfect, it allows us to cover a large area quickly and to hold the Dremel at a comfortable angle to the work surface. The only downside is that those little hairs break off and turn into nasty bits of metal that get stuck in your clothes and the ground. They then cause amazing pain when they bite the legs or other sensitive parts of the body. There's probably nothing the manufacturer can do about it, but you've been warned to clean and vacuum thoroughly after use.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
