Bought two of these for my boys as stocking stuffers. They just arrived today, and they come in nice little boxes which I was suprised about. I took one out to test it, and it comes precharged, always a nice thing. Connecting to Bluetooth was simple, press the middle button, no problem. There is a front and back to the hat, aka the speakers aligning up correctly with the ears. The interior of the hat is a nice material, super comfortable. If the speakers were to give out, I'd totally keep wearing this hat, seriously, it's just a nice hat. I often wear winter hats indoors as I deal with a lot of anxiety and it's like my security blanket. This hat is comfy.I also like listening to music in bed and don't like disturbing anyone, and as a test, just lied down and it is so much better than using in ear headphones. Seriously, it's so comfy.Audio quality: This is what I'm most suprised about. They sound really good. I have a full 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos system in my house that to me sounds amazing, but I'm currently in my living room listen to music on this damn hat. It's not Bose or Sony WH-1000 by any means, but this is a damn $14 hat that has speakers. Very little bass response, but no worse than an in ear. But decent midrange, and very little disturbance with both high or low frequencies. They actually sound better lieing down when you can really get the speakers touching your ears more firmly.Keep in mind, as these are not in ear earbuds, they are not private. People within 5-10 feet will hear them at full volume, which, admittedly is not as loud as I would prefer, but it will be a muffled sound. If you buy these for a kid, or anyone really, don't expect to not hear what they are listening to. This does not bother me at all however, just clarifying.Seriously, buy this hat. And if you're buying them as gifts, buy yourself one. I have had it on my head for about 90 minutes and already bought myself one. It's seriously such a good deal for what this is. Don't be suprised when Apple makes one for $300.I cant speak to the longevity obviously, and I hear there are issues with taking out the speakers to wash it, but honestly, I don't wash winter hats anyway. As stated earlier, even if the speakers go bad, I'm gonna keep wearing this hat, it's just so comfortable. This is probably the coolest gift I've ever gotten my kids and I hope they love them half as much as I do. And if not, well, I will have two replacements. If this thing came branded with a Dallas Cowboys logo I'd pay $50 for one. Conclusion: If you've gotten this far and you haven't forked over a measley $14 for this hat, you probably won't regardless. But you should. It is a must buy. Im now just realizing how much I'm gonna look forward to wearing this while shoveling and snowblowing and really just doing anything outside.
