As for sewing everything works Okay the magazine opens and then you mostly throw away the staples and they break, real staples were used with arrows and some of them don't eat Well maybe 10 percent, and the last 1/2 strip of staples has been malnourished many times (yes, you could put in a new strip, and then it will eat). and upon closing the slide that closes the magazine, it ripped a chunk out of my palm (pinched), but yes, a chunk broke off. I bought this one thinking Arrow was a good company and was happy with other staplers that carry their name, these do not (in my opinion) live up to their previous reputation for a quality product
