Bought to help with cuts on my table saw. I used them for rip and cut with no problems. I've used them with 2x4, 1x4, 1/4" Luan, and 3/4" maple plywood. I'm not going to say they're perfect, but if you think a push block is perfect, you might want to have a first aid kit and a phone handy. They held up well and offered very good control, especially on some cuts that were smaller and required a lot of attention to stay clear of the blade. Block selection is excellent for most applications. For each cut, first test your control and movement with a practice run. Then turn on the saw.
