This is a very forgiving pattern. I have NOT customized the patterns. And it looks great. 2 things and a whole 12 foot wall takes less than an hour 1. Roll up the paper. Once you do that, it becomes nice and smooth. And it makes it very easy to remove the paper from the back and smooth it with your hands. Make sure the top (cut) is straight. If you're a little crazy. Because of this, it is difficult to keep the strip straight, and then many air bubbles appear. So take a ruler and some good scissors. Cuts easily. It's easy. I needed 3.5 rolls for my 12 (×10) foot wall. I could cut 3 end pieces of the roll to fill it. But I had an extra, so I used it. I also overlapped each row 1/4 inch. It may have been stretched. EDIT: liked it and then started peeling off the wall. Above Possible temperature change on the outer wall. Or paint later. I do not know. But I'm dad because I liked it.😢
