The switch itself works well. My only concern is the proprietary cables it uses. One end has HDMI, USB, speaker and microphone ports for connection to a PC. The end is just an HDMI that plugs into the switch. The cable is only 5 meters long. I wanted to run this cable about 8 feet. So I bought an HDMI adapter and a 3 foot HDMI cable, thinking it would give me the extension I needed. It did not work. Apparently a regular HDMI connector/cable between the switch and the end of the HDMI cable is not compatible. So you have two options: 1. Move the PC closer to the switch (which I did) 2. Get the extension for. A. HDMI B. USB C. Speakers D. Microphone. Connections between PC and proprietary cable. Place the PC very close to the switch. Also, the switch kept switching between PCs while typing. I noticed that the switch uses the ctrl key as a hot switch. I use the Ctrl key A LOT - and it was causing an unwanted toggle. This was a little frustrating because I couldn't find any documentation online on how to fix this - and I completely forgot there was a little pamphlet that came with a toggle that very simply told me how to use the hotkey switched from Ctrl to Scroll Lock. So this disappointment was my own incompetent fault. Update: I've had the Switch for about a year now and use it regularly. No other issues were encountered other than all the rubber feet falling off. The glue used is not very strong. I could glue them back on, but I actually prefer the bottom profile. So I just turned them off. The metal body of the switch cannot damage the surface I have it on.
