Broke instantly - turned on once and died
Broke instantly - turned on once and died. Came with batteries installed. I turned it on once and it worked. I opened the battery compartment to check the battery type. I reinstalled the batteries. After that the light stopped working. Tried different batteries - still not working. Batteries were new, correctly aligned in the device. The lid at each end was securely fastened. Returning for a refund due to a defective product.
