I appreciate the additional instructions he gave regarding the settings I need to change on my MacBook Air to make it work. They were very basic and everything worked as I expected and hoped (I have just returned another product from a different manufacturer and seller that stopped working after 2 CDs). The only downside was the need to use 2 USB ports and although the cables were quite long, they just about lasted. My USB ports are on opposite sides of my 12.75 inch laptop. Also, since I used both USB ports, I couldn't use an external mouse, which was a little annoying. Ultimately, while I thought this product worked as I hoped, I would never buy another computer/laptop that didn't have a built-in CD/DVD drive as buying an external drive is too hassle (this was the third one I tried). ). ). a bit disappointed that it is now advertised for $13 less than I bought it before Christmas (about 17 days ago)!
