I LOVE the idea of the instax camera but HATE the lack of control over image quality. This printer completely solves that problem AND has some nice bonuses! I have three children and will be in 6th grade this year. I am deeply passionate about the VSCO girls and boys movement and Instax is a big part of it. This printer caught the immediate interest of ALL the kids I spend my days with. It's convenient to take to skate nights, school events, or get-togethers with friends OR to encourage timely class work for those who like to take photos. For $99, this is the perfect companion for your smartphone with kids. The app has some built-in features like frames (although the boys in my world don't like them), collage prints, or just creating photos from within the app. I can't even begin to express how much I really LOVE this little printer. . You can buy film in bulk for $30 for 60 prints (ie $0.50 per print) and have FULL product quality control. Just great!
