If you have liquid fuel (say for a Zippo lighter) refilling is easy, but I wouldn't put too much in at once. If you just leave the fuel there, it will eventually disappear on you. This happens in just a few days. So I would say only fill it out if you need to. For example if you are going to town it could be a cool steampunk lighter to carry around or if you want to use it as a small temporary candle then it will work for that too but if you need a lighter you can it do rely on. If you're going camping or whatever I wouldn't take this unless you bring fuel because it lets you down.
