I really like being able to extend the tripod up to 12 1/2 inches which places the light closer to my face than others who sit on the monitor or low on the table. Being flat eliminates those pesky shadows On a full charge I've used it continuously in a Scale meeting for up to 1 hour 45 minutes and the battery is only half full. Alternate the light from very cold to very warm or something in between. It's great, I have two and one of either side of me is fine.
