As far as I know there are no instructions included but you just need to look at the terminal block. This is my first time installing AMP and I figured it out. There is a metal contact around one of the mounting holes. The rest don't. It needs to be grounded. Do not exaggerate. We take a wire, add a plug and ground it (see the photo I took). Works great, looks good, good solid construction. I use it on a boat so we'll see how it holds up in the salty Florida air. So far he has been held back with all the roar of the waves. I would buy it again with great pleasure.
