Bought these to cut a 16ft steel garage door into smaller pieces that would fit in my car for recycling. I took it apart first so there was nothing deeper than 1 inch. Used my 30 year old handyman saw, no worm drive. Did a good job with a steady feed, it just slowed down as I started to tie in the cut. It took about an hour to take everything apart and cut. About half a blade consumed. Was in long sleeves and goggles, sparks for scrap I got about the same as I bought leaves which I think makes an argument for a bigger machine.
