Worked well for my purpose

I used a circular saw to cut an old heavy stair trainer that was too heavy and old to move or sell. It took me about half an hour and I went through 3 of these blades. I made about two dozen cuts in heavy 1/8" steel tubing and 4 cuts in solid 1" section. The blades performed well and lasted about as long as I expected.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I suggest not to cut sheet steel.

Are they suitable for cutting steel pipe and squares? Yes. Are they suitable for cutting sheet steel? May be. The reason I say "maybe" is because you have to be very careful when cutting long pieces with these wheels. I've seen them explode due to the side force generated when cutting long corners of the steel sheet. They are very loud but leave a very clean cut. They are attached to a base saw I bought from Home Depot. Wear glasses!

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Works well with galvanized steel.

Bought these to cut a 16ft steel garage door into smaller pieces that would fit in my car for recycling. I took it apart first so there was nothing deeper than 1 inch. Used my 30 year old handyman saw, no worm drive. Did a good job with a steady feed, it just slowed down as I started to tie in the cut. It took about an hour to take everything apart and cut. About half a blade consumed. Was in long sleeves and goggles, sparks for scrap I got about the same as I bought leaves which I think makes…

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I will add later
