Poor dent shape, hinges pop out, interfere with door opening

Very similar to this one. Bought and installed on all my doors. Immediately as the doors opened and they latched, they crushed the molding. I've tried shims on the molding and doorstops but the shims slide off, the hinges come loose and still dent the frame. Also, they don't let the doors open fully. I just bought some traditional doorstops, put them in the top corner of the doors and I really like them. These end up in the trash.
