but I have found that bamboo needles (especially this one) are very difficult to knit because the yarn doesn't like to slip over the needles

I certainly don't find these needles badly made, but I find bamboo needles (especially these) very difficult to knit because the yarn doesn't like to slip over the needles. I ended up having to buy metal for my project.

Perfect for a very long scarf I knitted. I love bamboo needles and this was just right.
